We began showing Whippets in 2011 whilst waiting for the puppy

to attain age for lure coursing.

Our Affix relates to our village and local open space, and was granted February 2012.

 Based in the South Downs National Park.

 

 The main interest now is field sports with some showing.  We believe a Whippet should be allowed to do what it was originally bred for, (i.e. run)and should be sound enough for that, whether naturally or on the lure.



We have 3 whippets: a 5 year old brindle dog, a ten month younger brindle bitch, and broke the mould with a mainly white bitch pup (Tanzi's niece) in November 2014.

 

They all share some famous  ancient relatives from two kennels I admire, including Ch. Fullerton Dream Mover and Ch. Nevedith Justa Jesta and Ch. Rare Rogue. 



The whippets are first and foremost our 4 legged family, companions and sofa warmers, but we also like to try and get them out to PWRC, BSFA or other local fun events for racing/lure coursing.  

 

We also attend occasional local Open and Championship shows.​
