Tanzi is from the long established Hertfordshire "Jasarat" kennel owned by Mrs J M Home and Mrs C J Fisher-Home.  Mrs Fisher-Home awards CC's in Whippets.



This young bitch is a grand-daughter of Ch. Fullerton Dream Mover and Ch. Loroli Fancy That for Derohan JW.  There are 32 champions in her 5 generation pedigree and we feel extremely privileged to own her.  Her breeding lines are show, with some kennels who also like to course.  Her COI is below the average.  Tanzi's French name is apt as she has some French blood, via the Manoir de la Grenouillere kennel.

We love Tanzi's temperament - she is extremely kind with Tinka, the cat and us, very playful, biddable but outgoing and great fun, always happy and wagging her tail, but rather shy with strangers.

  Julie especially adores her, and after the full time nursing back to health, Tanzi may be a bit of a mummy's girl. 

 

Tanzi 'came out' aged 6 months and a day with a 3rd in Puppy.  In October 2012 she qualified for Crufts at Midland Whippet Club being handled by her breeder.  She was shown in Special Bitch Puppy on March 7th 2013 under Mrs EC Whimpanny.

 

At her final chance, Tanzi was BPIB and HPG2 at Portsmouth & SKA Feb. 2013.  The following month she was 1st in AV Hound Graduate and Best AV Hound at Woolwich & Bexley DCA.

She has only been very lightly shown.

 

Having watched Tanzi's agility, speed and sharp turning power in her first 12 months, we thought she would prove more talented on the field than in the show ring.

 In 2013 she concentrated on Lure Coursing BSFA and gained her first 10 LCM points in July.  Unfortunately she was unable to continue any further that year due to severe illness, and a relapse in the spring of 2014 plus weight problems put paid to any more serious LC or other field sports to date.

 

  In September she became a KC Good Citizen Dog (Bronze) and KC Companion Dog Club member too, and welcomed her niece Topaz to the family.
